Jethro serves as a Youth and Missional Community Leader at Redemption Church.
He is thankful to have been raised in a Christian home. Like many in this situation there comes a point where the realities of life intrude upon your own life and necessitate that one asks the question “Is this true?”.
Jethro found that the Gospel claims—that Jesus Christ is the long awaited Son of God, the seed of Abraham, the fulfillment of all the promises, sent at the appointed time, to reconcile men to God, the only way because he is the only one sent from God to atone for our sin—not only holds up to rigorous scrutiny but offer answers that have given me hope in times of trouble like nothing else I know. It gives answers to life’s big questions, imparts a sense of security and peace when all else seems to be heading for chaos. By his grace he stands, and prays his life would be for His glory in whatever manner He chooses to use him. Jethro hopes to be able to share this Good News with others while trusting that He will keep me until that day.
When he does get time—and there are waves—he likes to surf with his family. He has been married to Gundula for 24 years and has three children together.
